Richard Fabian to Speak at 2011 Council on Litigation Management Conference

Mr. Fabian is a lawyer with more than twenty years of experience in the resolution of complex insurance and reinsurance disputes, both within the industry and in private litigation practice. Mr. Fabian joined the run-off team in 1999 as a senior attorney in the strategic unit. In 2000, Mr. Fabian became Director of Assumed Reinsurance. In 2001, Mr. Fabian assumed responsibility for managing the run-off group’s coverage litigation as Vice President, Director of Litigation. In 2008, Mr. Fabian was appointed General Counsel and Director of Litigation. As General Counsel, Mr. Fabian manages a team of highly experienced lawyers and paralegals responsible for all litigation and other legal matters involving the company. He also concentrates on new business development.Before joining RiverStone, Mr. Fabian was national counsel to various major insurers and reinsurers at the national law firm, Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps. Mr. Fabian is an experienced negotiator and he has resolved numerous high exposure insurance/reinsurance and commercial disputes during his career. He is also a frequent lecturer and writer on a variety of insurance and litigation oriented topics and is a graduate of Boston University School of Law.
