The De Mayo Hip Positioner® System Kit – Large secures obese patients without lifting as the positioner is “built” around the patient rather than OR staff trying to place the patient into a fixed device. The system uniquely secures patients resulting in no abdominal pressure and also comes with an optional stabilizing bar for extra stability. The system’s bariatric extension plate is ideal for obese patients.

The De Mayo Hip Positioner® System Kit – Standard offers stable patient support at the superior iliac crest and lumbar and comes with an optional adjustable lateral support arm for the inferior iliac crest. Patients are protected by single-use, latex-free, dual compression foam pads.

The IMP systems offer unobstructed access to the surgical site because the crossover bar is tilted away from the hip area providing excellent exposure to the acetabulum and femur.

The Complete De Mayo Hip Positioner® System includes the Standard and Large Positioner components and all the necessary attachments needed for easier, more secure patient positioning.  Patient Protective Pads are ordered separately.
