Emirate of Bir Tawil is Formed

Feb. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- We, as the representatives of the new Emirate of Bir Tawil, claim this unclaimed territory between Egypt and Sudan based on the following laws and historical references:

LAND CLAIMED:
Bir Tawil or Bi'r Tawil , is a 2,060 km2 (795 sq mi) area along the border between Egypt and Sudan which is claimed by neither country. It is sometimes referred to as the Bir Tawil Triangle, despite the area's quadrilateral shape, with the longer side in the north of the area running along the 22° north circle of latitude. East-to-west, the area is between 46 kilometres (29 mi) long in the south, and 95 kilometres (59 mi) long in the north, and between 26 kilometres (16 mi) and 31 kilometres (19 mi) wide north-to-south, and 2,060 km2 (800 sq mi) in size. INTERNATIONAL LAW:

Guano Islands Act (48 U.S.C. ch.8 §§ 1411-1419)
- several species of bats live in the Sahara Dessert and would be drawn to the mountains of Bir Tawil. Therefore I can take full claim of Bir Tawil.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 15
- the Ababda that live in the area have no national homeland. therefore, by UN law the Bir Tawil area will be claimed by me on their behalf.
Montevideo Convention, Article 1 (signed by 19 states)
-The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: (a) a permanent population [Ababda tribe]; (b) a defined territory [the land of bir tawil]; (c) government [i will serve as the interim government]; and (d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states [i fully understand international law and am willing to appoint representatives].
UN Resolution 1514, The Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples
-signed by both Egypt and Sudan. By definition a colony is an inhabited territory controlled by a foreign state. Therefore Bir Tawil would be, by definition only, a colony of either which would have again meant independence at the signing of this law.
Terra Nullius
-This land is claimed by no state and is therefore may be claimed.

RELIGIOUS LAW:
As Bir Tawil has no government or law, the Qu'ran requires it be conquered: (I place this responsibility upon myself)
" God has promised those of you who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds that, of a certainty, He will make them Khulifa on earth, even as He caused [some of] those who lived before them to become Khulifa; and that, of a certainty, He will firmly establish for them the religion which He has been pleased to bestow on them; and that, of a certainty, He will cause their erstwhile state of fear to be replaced by a sense of security [seeing that] they worship Me [alone], not ascribing divine powers to aught beside Me. But all who, after [having understood] this, choose to deny the truth – it is they, they who are truly iniquitous!"[24:55] (Surah Al-Nur, Verse 55)
So govern between the people by that which God has revealed (Islam), and follow not their vain desires, beware of them in case they seduce you from just some part of that which God has revealed to you

Additionally I was ordained a Sheikh on October 29th, 2009. As the Ababda Tribe adheres to Islam, I will take Bir Tawil as a homeland for them through my title of Sheikh.

ADDITIONAL HISTORICAL RIGHTS:
The British occupied Egypt-Sudan then held the area as a protectorate. They were the last known claimants of the land, therefore I have the family right to pick up those claims through 3 branches of my family.
Through the McCullough amily (direct line to my mother):
Descended from Mac Lulach, Prince of Scotland and Mormaer of Moray (family later becomes royal family of all Britain).
Through the Guthrie famiy:
Baron Alexander Guthrie (married to Margaret Lyon, a descendant of Robert II of Scotland)(family later becomes royal family of all Britain).
Through the Edwards family (direct line to my father):
Edwards means "son of edward" and Edward (from the period that surnaes were developing) was King of England and Scotland.
