HomeLife Village Realtors Open Art Gallery in the Village of Carlsbad, CA

Feb. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Carlsbad, CA…Business Owner/Broker, Gary Nessim of HomeLife Village Realtors, is participating as the first business creating a permanent art gallery.  HomeLife Art Gallery located at 500 Grand Avenue, Carlsbad, Ca is open in time to coincide with the re-opening of the Thursdays on the Coast, The Experience, starting March 24th through October 27, 2011.

The event is hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association and was originally named the TOTC Art Walk and is Free.  It will run every fourth Thursday of the month, 5:30pm to 8:30pm and will be infused with the excitement of a self guided tour of shopping, dining, art, & musicians, all providing the public with a real treat.

““The city needs an infusion of new ideas and event opportunities affording everyone the opportunity to thrive and grow. One such opportunity was to provide local artists a venue for permanent art and create an atmosphere for artists and business to unite, offering visitors to Carlsbad the opportunity to explore our village, shop, dine, meet business owners and artists and experience our wonderful city. We would like to draw more of the arts to our city and develop into a community visitors would like to explore”, states Gary, who is also the President of the Carlsbad Village Association, (CVA) and an event sponsor.

The unity of art in business in not new, but HomeLife Village Realtors is the first to open HomeLife Art Gallery in the city of Carlsbad’s, downtown village area.  “To extend a helping hand to artists and display their art permanently for eight months out of the year, visitors, buyers and sellers alike are welcome and can come on board in a joint effort to unite business and art and watch the benefits unfold as we welcome the public”, states Gary Nessim.

Gary’s eight artists, Cheryl Ehlers, Darlene Katz, Barbara Mille, Terry Oshrin, Simonne Puchard, Carol Korfin, Asta Sutton and Paul Richter have displays in Art, Mosaics, Glass, & Photography. “Speaking on behalf of the artists, we are excited to be invited to participate in this opportunity. Locating venues is not always easy. They need to remain open 7 days a week and understand the processing of selling artwork as well. With Gary Nessim and his team at HomeLife Village Realtors they have made it possible for us and they now have their business filled with color and conversation”. states Cheryl Ehlers, artist.
