How to Install Wood Kernel
Actually the Woodr4 kernel installation can be followed as Wood R4i Gold V1.25.
1. Download latest Wood R4 kernel officially from ri4ds.cn
2. Decompress rar file into one Wood kernel folder
3. open the folder and copy _rpg folder, _DS_MENU.DAT, WOODR4.NDS into the root directory of memory card
4. Wood kernel installation completes

Notice:
1. R4i Gold 3DS flashcard with latest wood R4 kernel V1.25 supports only DSi DS games on Nintendo 3DS;
2. R4i Gold 3DS card supports Wood 3DS kernel update for 3DS games but it is under programming up to Mar 2nd, 2011
3. If run Wood R4i Gold card with WoodR4 v1.25 on Nintendo 3DS, the console will tell error, and it does not mean 3DS is locked, just turn off the power and can work with r4i gold 3DS again.
