By: Katie O'Lone March 2011: The Grove, London’s Cosmopolitan Country Estate, is springing into action this Easter with a four day, jam-packed weekend from £310 per night, per room on a bed and breakfast basis, including all activities. Well renowned as a top choice for family breaks, this Easter the hotel is combining traditional past times - bonnet making and Easter egg hunts – with more dynamic activities such as Scaletrix and karate training. The UK Food Network’s Royal Cake Correspondent, Chef Eric Lanlard will be on hand to give guests some tips and tricks of the trade in Easter cake decoration. He will be giving top tips from his new TV series ‘Baking Mad with Eric Lanlard’ that starts on Channel 4 just before Easter. With a chance for all the family to explore The Grove’s magnificent gardens, there is a Family Easter Egg hunt too. The hotel’s superb facilities and specific activities means the weekend will keep all ages occupied and ensure the hotel’s ‘little guests’ have an equally fabulous time as their parents. Carefully created by the team at Anouska’s – The Grove’s OFSTED-inspected kids club (up to 12 years) – the children’s activities include getting crafty with bonnet making, chocolate egg decorating, face painting and a theatre workshop with professional actors from a renowned children’s drama group. Teenagers more inclined to while away the hours on the latest computer games can enjoy the Games Room, which is kitted out the brand new X box Kinect, Wii’s, PS3’s and the cinema nights will screen a selection of recent releases and classic favourites. Meanwhile the hotel’s Walled Garden will be home to a range of games from the traditional - croquet, bowls, skittles and quoits on the lawn to volleyball on the Urban Beach, tennis and football on The Grove’s premiership sized pitch for the more energetic. An Easter BBQ will run throughout the weekend, offering delicious bites and refreshments and if all this leads guests wanting more, they can head back to The Grove the following weekend for more family fun and the screening of the Royal Wedding. -ENDS- Further information: Bronya Heaver | PR Manager | The Grove 01923 296019 | Bronya.heaver@ Lucinda Buxton |Victoria Coombes |Katie O’Lone at Mango PR 020 7421 2500 | victoria.coombes@ # # # Mango PR is a London-based PR agency specializing in leading and emerging brands in the travel, tourism, property and lifestyle-related industries, building value for clients through strategic and tailored public relations campaigns.
