Driver's Group ask Speed Camera Question

The Driver's Protest Union challenges recent polls on speed cameras, like those of Insurance companies, as being misleading. Would informed voters have polled differently? This poll should provide the answer.

March 4, 2011 - PRLog -- The Driver's Protest Union is concerned that propaganda in polling on matters of road safety policy is dangerous and leads to unnecessary prosecution.

The Group feel that polls of the uninformed by firms with vested interested, is no way to run road safety or to influence government either.

Keith Peat, Founder and ex police patrol officer says; ‘I am appalled that large companies with vested interest in cameras but no particular road safety qualification are prepared to poll and publish the views of other non experts in such a life and death matter.’

D.P.U.  is now running a simple poll with a foreword of facts about speeding, speed limits and speed cameras to see what the informed voter thinks about speed cameras.
