New Jacqueline Hairston Ensemble invited to perform in famed Carnegie Hall Feb 2012

Internationally acclaimed African-American composer Jacqueline B. Hairston and her talented ensemble invited to perform in New York's famed Carnegie Hall under the auspices of Mid-America Productions.

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The African-American Voice in Classical Music, Patrick D. McCoy is pleased announce that the noted composer Jacqueline B. Hairston and her New Jacqueline Hairston Ensemble has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall, February 2012 under the auspices of MidAmerica Productions.

Dr. Hairston is an award-winning composer and arranger who has had her works performed by several renowned singers, notably by the soprano Kathleen Battle recently in a concert at the Music Center at Strathmore with the Morgan State University Choir and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

She will conduct a combined choir, comprised of singers from across the country in a number of her trademark spiritual arrangements.
