2012 Ford Mustang BOSS 302 Laguna Seca at Waldorf Ford

March 31, 2011 - PRLog -- When Ford announced that they were bringing back the iconic Boss 302, Mustang enthusiasts around the world cheered for joy.  There were questions though, would the new Boss 302  be everything the original was?  Well, the team at Ford heard this and were determined that if the 2012 wasn't as good as the original, if not better, then they were not going to release it.  So months and months of testing were done, including track testing that put Parnelli Jones - the legendary race car driver that took the Boss to the winners circle countless times.  They put the 12 Boss to the test.  Then the engineers tweaked it until they were satisfied that they had a car that would be everything the Boss owner expected.

They also took things a step further and developed a special limited Laguna Seca edition Boss 302.  it was named to commemorate the first-place Boss 302 finish at the 1970 Trans-Am series opener.  “The Laguna Seca package puts a race-ready version of the new Mustang Boss 302 directly into enthusiasts’ hands,” said Mark Fields, Ford president of The Americas. “Laguna Seca isn’t intended for Boss buyers who simply want an exhilarating daily driver. Think of it as a factory-built race car, which we hope avid racers and track-day fans are going to love.”

We, at http://www.waldorfford.com, have been fortunate be allocated this special edition.  Our first one arrived recently and before its new owner took delivery we were able to take some candid snapshots.  This car is everything and more.  The black paint with the red striping sets this legend apart from anything else we have seen.  And we aren't the only ones that have been impressed.  The proud owner happens to be a car enthusiast with some other muscle car legends in his garage.  He recently told us that his new 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca is his favorite vehicle by far.  

So, keep your eyes open Southern Maryland.  You might just see this legend cruising by you some day.
