Jiddah Refinery of Saudi Aramco is recommended for ISO/IEC 17025 by IAS, USA with help of GMG

April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Jiddah refinery of Saudi Aramco is recommended for ISo/IEC 17025 by IAS, USA on 30th March for their petroleum refinery. Our consultants have provided all training, documentation, helped in implementation and auditing of system for stringent requirements of ISo/IEC 17025 for their 40 test parameters.

Global manager group consultants have started this consultancy project on ISo/IEC 17025 for the lab of Saudi Aramco Jiddah refinery lab in October 2010. The kick off meeting was organised on 23rd October by the team, foundation course on ISo 17025 was organised. Also various technical training programs like Uncertainty measurement, method validation, calibration of instruments, internal auditing, ISO 17025 documentation etc was provided to the Aramco lab staff. Also our team has helped in documentation as per ISo/IEC 17025 including manual, procedures, Sops, formats, exhibits, calibration methods etc. All the staff is trained and system was implemented as per ISo/IEC 17025 requirements and 2 rounds of internal audits are conducted. Finally the team from USA and Canada of auditors of International accreditation services (IAS) visited the lab in last week of March 2011. After detail audit of the lab they are recommended for ISO/IEC 17025 for their 40 parameters by vice president of IAS, Mr. Raj Nathan in the closing meeting conducted on 30th March 2011.
