South Florida Workforce Kicks Off Young Adult Summer Employment Program

The South Florida Workforce Investment Board (SFWIB) has partnered with regional businesses and government entities to launch the 2011 Young Adult Summer Employment Program.
 
April 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The Young Adult Summer Employment Program is an excellent opportunity to provide young people between the ages of 18 to 24 with the opportunity to gain work experience with local employers and to earn much needed extra money.

By partnering with SFWIB, local businesses will be able to provide young adults with job opportunities and guidance, at no cost to the employer.

“I highly encourage the business community to support our efforts in creating employment opportunities for our young adults. By providing job opportunities, we not only improve the local economy, but more importantly we provide career exposure to our future workforce,” said Rick Beasley, executive director for South Florida Workforce Investment Board.
