Actor and Comedian Richard Belzer to appear on PROFILES on NYC life channel 25.

April 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Perhaps best known for his work as Detective John Munch on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. In addition, he has also played Detective Munch in episodes of six other series. Belzer has made Munch a brand.

As a comedian – back in 1975 Belzer was part of the original “Saturday Night Live” cast, he would warm-up the crowds with his stand-up routine and then appear in sketches.

Belzer also has a place in radio history as a featured player on the “National Lampoon Radio Hour” with Co-Stars John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner. The half-hour comedy program aired on some 600 U.S. Stations from 1973 to 1975.
