May 20, 2011 - PRLog -- National Geographic is bringing a new show to its line-up for 2011 that shows America how to survive in the 'jungle' of today's tough economy.

National Geographic Channel (NGC) introduces self-made multimillionaire and ‘turnaround’ business consultant, Grant Cardone, who shows companies how to succeed in today's tough economy.  Cardone says, "It’s truly survival of the fittest! Anyone that continues to make the same moves as they did before the economy rolled over is being eaten alive!" Cardone doesn't just go into a company and motivate them or dish out advice, but he actually demonstrates how the company can add immediate revenue to the business without spending money to do so.

In a two-part special premiering on Sunday, June 19, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Cardone takes on a Car dealership that is barely hanging on and a gym that is losing money every month.  Cardone begins each mission by going undercover with hidden cameras and identifying the actual problems with the company.  Cardone says, "Most companies haven't even identified the right problem and therefore can never come up with the right solution."  After his undercover mission, he reveals his true identity and works with management and employees to create a 'turnaround' plan. Cardone says,  "I can turnaround any company, in any economy selling any product, anytime -- guaranteed!"  Cardone has been giving businesses guidance for over 25 years, customizing sales processes and systems to ensure their success. Cardone says,  "Businesses that continue to blame the economy are destined for failure.  Anyone that holds on to old practices is dead meat in the new economy!"

Turnaround King: Gold’s Gym
Sunday, June 19, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
Wimpy sales at a Gold’s Gym franchise have it on the verge of closing.  Not only that, but the owners could also lose their house if things don’t turn around.  International sales expert Grant Cardone travels to Whippany, N.J., where he starts with a hidden camera tour of the facilities.  He is convinced the gym is suffering from mismanagement, poor fee structures and a failure to utilize its biggest assets:  employees and personal trainers.  With a new sales plan, Grant takes the staff through his step-by-step process to win new members.  But not everyone is on board.  Will he be able to convince the owners to change direction before it’s too late?

Sunday, June 19, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
A car dealership in the same family for three generations is in danger of closing.  Grant travels to Keyport, NJ, to attempt to get it back on track.  Appalled by the lack of customer service and unmotivated sales team, Grant develops a management and sales plan, reorganizes the car lot and gives a crash course in social media.  Can this new strategy help drive cars off the lot, or have the brakes been put on permanently?

Grant Cardone is an international sales training expert, business consultant, and New York Times Best-Selling author.  Cardone has written four books since the economic troubles on Wall Street;  “Sell to Survive,” “The Closers’ Survival Guide”, “If You’re Not First, You’re Last”, and "The 10X Rule.  For more information visit www.grantcardone.com.
