Mommy Blogger Starts Social Media Company

June 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Greenwood Lake,  New York (June 1, 2011)  -  Maria Gagliano has been a Mommy Blogger for the past 6 years and loves everything about Social Networking.  “Making connections with people is important to me.  I have always been creative and love to write and take photos.  Blogging gave me that platform”, said Maria.   So, when she was approached in January to come on board as the social media specialist for another mom and her new company, she got started doing what she does best.  Social networking and getting the company’s name out there.  Facebook, Twitter, blogging and updating the website were all things Maria had been doing for herself for the past six years as she grew her mommy blog which receives over 36,000 views a month, so she jumped right in. After being approached by another local mom about advertising, she figured why not do this for others who feel they can’t afford a social media specialist?  Thus, Buzz Chic™ was born.

Buzz Chic™ was formed in April. “I really wanted to help the people with whom I have been working with over the past few years.  The handmade, homemade crowd, the people who have been trying to make a difference in the world without huge amounts of money and have been doing it on their own.  Running a company is a lot of work and smaller companies don’t have the time to grow their company and handle all the social networking like Twitter and Facebook. Handling this for them at a price they can afford, allows them the time to market themselves while giving them an online voice”, explained Maria.

Social Networking is an important part of any business and while it isn’t hard, it is time consuming.  Maria works on the company’s team and directly with the owners to get the maximum exposure for the company’s products or service by networking on Twitter, Facebook and Blogs, promoting the company in their respective fields and potential demographics. “Buzzing a company’s products or service, especially when it is something I love or am passionate about is easy.  I have been doing it for years.  When I find something I love, I want everyone to know about it”, said Maria.
