Carla Fair-Wright and Elaine Jackson will be speaking at PMI Conference in Houston on June 8, 2011

June 3, 2011 - PRLog -- The two have joined to share their experiences and lessons learned, with the hope of providing a much needed holistic approach for those preparing for the PMP exam. They will be presenting the session titled "PMP Exam: From Distress to Success - 15 Exceptional Study Techniques for passing the PMP Exam." Elaine Jackson achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification in 2008 after she conducted several study group sessions for project managers employed at Hewlett Packard Company. Elaine Jackson enjoys coaching individuals interested in pursuing their careers in project management. For the last 6 years, her style of coaching involves assisting individuals to understand the project management, and explores ways to apply that knowledge toward passing the Project Management Certification Exam.

As a graduate of an all women’s college, Marymount College, NY, Elaine earned her BS degree in Biology and worked over six years as a Research Biologist. Recent courses in Clinical Project Management has added to her knowledge in clinical trials where she is looking to grow her career in project management. She successfully completed the Entrepreneurial Business Training Program in North Andover, Massachusetts and launched Holistic Project Management Consulting, www.HolisticPMC.com. She has been a featured guest speaker at various career development seminars, radio broadcasts, TV appearance, and technology conferences. She has measured a 95% testing success rate with individuals passing the PMP Certification Exam after following her study programs.

Carla Fair-Wright, PMP, MCP, ASQ CSQE is a Project Management Professional (PMP)® and ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) with a BS in Computer Science, and Associate Degrees in Electronic Technology and Technical Management. She has also carried out graduate work in Software Engineering at the University of Houston. Carla is a chapter author in two books, Encyclopedia of Energy Engineering & Technology and Case Studies and Applications of Web Based Energy Information and Control Systems. Recently, Carla has appeared on Fox 26 News as a guest expert. She was featured in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) magazine and was a contributing writer to Microsoft endorsed Component Developer Magazine. Carla has been an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) since 2005. She is a past President of SWE's Houston Area Section.
