The Jimmy Star Show to Appear at the UEC Military Freedom Festival June 18 2011 with W4CY Radio

June 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Meet Jimmy Star and his Cool Crowd from The Jimmy Star Show live radio show on W4CY Radio at The Xtreme UEC Military Freedom Festival on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Xtreme Indoor Karting entertainment center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Jimmy Star Show is radio's new hit show, featuring live celebrity guests and the coolest in music, entertainment, fashion and pop culture, all from a fun industry insider perspective in a completely live, unedited fast-paced two-hour conversational format. King of Cool Jimmy Star and his Cool Crowd of cohosts will be appearing live to support the Freedom Festival's veteran charity causes.  

The Xtreme UEC Military Freedom Festival is a free admission, all ages, all-day music and entertainment festival dedicated to supporting the military heroes of the United States of America. Sponsored by the United Electronics Corporation Military Freedom Network radio station along with W4CY Radio, the event will raise awareness and donations to free First Lieutenant Michael Behenna, an American hero convicted of killing a known terrorist in self-defense while serving in Iraq, as well as the Legacy Scholarship Fund for children who lost parents in Iraq or Afghanistan.

This year's festival will be emceed by David "The Knapster" Knapp of The Knapster radio show who was recently named Veteran of the Year and is a former Southern Commander of The American Legion and will be simulcast live on W4CY Radio and the UEC Military Freedom Network. Recently extended to run all day from 12 pm noon to 12 am midnight, the Freedom Festival boasts an impressive nonstop line up of talent to include musical performances by American Idol finalist Brett Loewenstern, current contestants of Simon Cowell's The X Factor Lexi Luca, Michaela Paige, and Meghan Ritmiller, as well as Chad & Heather, First October, Verona Rose, The Shirt Band, Sarah Spiritual, IMAIM, JD Danner, Daybreak Embrace, Teri Catlin, Taylor Renee, Mallory Blue, tributes to Elvis and Frank Sinatra, and many others. Hosted by Xtreme Indoor Karting at their 90,000 square foot indoor facility, attendees can partake in extreme go kart racing, video gaming, and miniature golf, as well as enjoy the all day concerts, food and drink, and celebrity guests.
