June 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Burlingame, CA—CNN recently featured TrackingTheWorld’s Enduro Pro GPS tracker on a segment of CNN Newsroom.  The segment, which began with a humorous James Bond introduction, described the GPS tracker as “about the size of a box of Tic-Tacs,” and “what the real private eyes use.”

“We’re pleased to have been featured on CNN Newsroom.  The network provided an excellent description of the Enduro Pro as a versatile GPS tracker which can be used to track both vehicles and people,” said Gilbert Walz, CEO of TrackingTheWorld, Inc.

As described in the CNN feature, the Enduro Pro offers a reliable GPS tracking solution ideal for multiple GPS tracking needs. It is successfully used for both covert GPS tracking by law enforcement and other agencies, as well as personal GPS tracking by individuals.

The Enduro Pro is a much-anticipated update to TrackingTheWorld’s best-selling tracker, the World Tracker Enduro.  The Enduro Pro comes with a built-in motion sensor which allows the GPS tracker to conserve battery power by allowing the device to hibernate when it is not in use, resulting in a battery life of up to 30-days on a single charge. “The Enduro Pro has the longest battery life of any GPS of comparable size,” said Walz. Another new feature of the Enduro Pro is a considerably faster time to first fix which is nearly twice as fast as the original Enduro.

Designed for all-weather use, the Enduro Pro operates reliably in both extreme cold and heat with an operating temperature range of -40° to +85° Celsius or -40° to185° Fahrenheit.  It is also water-resistant to IPX-5 standards.  “The extreme weather qualities of the Enduro Pro only add to the versatility of this GPS tracker.  It can be used virtually anywhere,” said Walz.

Other technical specifications of the Enduro Pro GPS tracker include Quad-Band 850/900/1800/190MHz operation, GSM phase 2/2+ compliance, a 1300mAh, 3.7V Li-polymer backup battery, 50-channel all-in-view tracking, and a uBlox 6 all-in-one GPS receiver.  Interface options include a mini-USB port for connecting to a computer, LED indicator light for power, GPS, and GSM, power and function buttons, and an MMCX RF connector for utilization of an external GPS antenna.
