Her poised tone, fierce delivery and ability to entertain and inspire will leave listeners in awe as the doctor prescribes medicinal melodies that can cure any emotional ailment. Last year, singer, songwriter, educator and author Dr. E released her debut solo album, Elevated - a smoky soul cabaret produced by Billboard award-winning songwriter, Larry D. Marcus and recorded by Jon Guggenheim with C-Town Sound Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio. "Vocally, Dr. E's instrument recalls the lighter and playful side of Patti Labelle's voice during her formative years in the Bluebelles." Jazzy, sultry and undeniably soulful, Dr. E has performed at notable venues such as Walt Disney World, The Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Lincoln Theatre and many more. She has captivated listeners with her unique brand of jazzy soul as the opener for musical heavyweights David Hollister, Zapp Band, and most recently, Stax recording artist N'Dambi and Hip Hop icon MC Lyte. During the 2011 City of Columbus Black History Month Celebration, Dr. E was presented with an award for outstanding woman of Columbus from Mayor Michael B. Coleman for her personal achievement as well as her work in central Ohio with African American youth. In addition to catching stellar live performances, you can also hear Dr. E's music on daytime television shows, All of My Children, The Young and the Restless and the sitcom Dharma and Greg.
