Paul Kiger Included in Exclusive SIRA Ranking

JEFFERSONVILLE — (June 23, 2011) — Realtor Paul Kiger of RE/MAX Advantage has been named by the Southern Indiana Realtors Association (SIRA) as 2011 Realtor of the Year for the entire Southern Indiana region.

Kiger began his career in real estate in 2007 as both a buyer’s and seller’s agent for RE/MAX Advantage.  Expanding his market in 2009 to reach both the Southern Indiana and Kentucky regions, Kiger earned 30 percent of his income across state lines within the first year.

A multi-million dollar producer, Kiger was named among 2008’s Top 100 Residential Agents, and has since been recognized as one of Realtor Magazine’s Top 30 Under 30.

Kiger currently sits on the Develop New Albany Board of Directors and serves as president of the Young Professionals Network “Bridge the Gap” Southern Indiana Realtors Association.

Kiger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Interpersonal Relations from Ball State University and worked four years as a claims adjuster before beginning his real estate career.

Kiger’s work in the community extends beyond real estate as he devotes his passion for urban revitalization to the restoration of a French Second Empire home in downtown New Albany.  The residence has served as the setting for many charitable events, including Develop New Albany’s Historic Home Tour.
