Tom Hanks on California Scooter: “This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!”

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- On a recent scooter ride to the red carpet premiere of Tom Hanks latest movie, Larry Crowne, Mr. Hanks saw a California Scooter Company motorcycle for the first time.   His reaction was immediate:  “This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!”

Mr. Hanks led a group of more than 50 scooter riders to the Larry Crowne movie premiere on Monday, 27 July 2011.  At the start of that ride, Mr. Hanks encountered well-known world motorcycle adventurer Arlene Battishill and her corporate-themed California Scooter Company motorcycle.  Mr. Hanks asked a number of questions about the California Scooter, and he was very impressed when Battishill explained that she had ridden the bike to Cabo San Lucas and back.  Battishill is the founder, president, and CEO of motorcycle apparel company Go Go Gear (www.GoGoGearLA.com), a designer and manufacturer of fashion-oriented motorcycle protective gear.
