Intimate, Smart West Village Story “Perry St.” Screening in New York City Intl, Film Festival

July 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Director Antonio Padovan’s films continue to be well received.  Padovan’s Perry St. has just been accepted into the New York City International Film Festival, which begins on August 18 and runs through the 28th.  The festival is in the process of providing additional details at www.nyciff.com
 While a relative newcomer to filmmaking, Antonio Padovan’s films have been accepted by sixteen film festivals, and so far he has earned four awards and one honorable mention.  (The awards and honorable mention were for Perry St.)
 Perry St. revolves around the stories of Ryan and his therapist Elaine, their love lives and their attempts to solve their problems.  Ryan, unable to find a stable relationship and a job that really satisfies him, doesn't really believe in any therapy anymore. Elaine engages in a battle of wills with her husband, Jake, while helping the insufferable Ryan at same time.  Both of their lives will change when Sophie appears in Ryan's life, taking him from what he is, to what he wants to be.
 Perry St. stars Catherine Mary Stewart who starred in the sci-fi film The Last Starfighter, The Night of the Comet, and Weekend at Bernie’s.  She has also appeared in over thirty-five other films and numerous TV appearances, and continues to delight her fans all over the world.
