Bob Marley: The Making of a Legend Based on footage shot in the early seventies and lost for more than thirty years, Esther Anderson’s film takes us on a journey to the Caribbean islands, to Jamaica and into 56 Hope Road, Kingston, to see and hear the young Bob Marley before he was famous. About Doc Miami DocMiami, a Non-profit 501C3 organization, is organizing and promoting an international documentary film festival competition and concert series this September in Doral/Florida. Supported by the Arts and Culture Committee of Doral, this event is partially funded by the City of Doral. A portion of the proceeds from the various events go to support two important causes- Finding a Cure for Cancer through The American Cancer Society-Relay for Life and the building of schools in Africa through www.brickbybrickfortanzania.org. Throughout the year, DocMiami also hosts several documentary screenings throughout South Florida and is responsible for launching a new "Save the Arts in Public Schools" EDUCATION initiative through a national film competition which is offered for FREE for students in grades 6-12. Sponsors receive over a full year of exposure of their contribution to these causes by their inclusion in our website, our public relations , social media and press events scheduled to take place before, during and after the actual festival in Sept 22-25 at Millenia Atlantic University and the Doral Golf Resort and Spa.
