Bankok Based Author, Poet, Activist Live on Lynnette's Book World

Aug. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- The multi talented Ivory Simone will be talking with Lynnette Phillips Saturday, August 13 at 3:00 PM (Pacific) on the Blog Talk Radio program Lynnette’s Book World. Because of the 14 hour time difference between Bangkok and Southern California (including the crossing of a date line), this show will be a first for Lynnette's Book World. It will be made up of a combination of audio files and live talk.

Besides “Havasu Means Blue Water”, a literary fiction about a dying southwestern town’s rocky road to redemption, Ivory Simone has written, “The Rainy Season, The Poems, Prose and Writings of Ivory Simone”. Ms. Simone is also the creator and host of two online programs: “Bangkok Poetry Streams”, podcasts devoted to the reading and enjoyment of poetry and prose and, “Take A Bite Out The Big Mango”, a popular BlogTalkRadio show about ex-pat lifestyles and happenings in-and-around Bangkok.

Ms. Simone is also the founder of the OneWoman/OneHouse Organization. A grassroots group committed to helping rebuild Haiti by using art as a tool for social justice.
