One of the stories that will be showcased will be Milagros Maldonado whom was sent to jail for two years before she was released because DNA proved that she was not the killer. The story of a mother losing two years of her life touched creator/writer Krista Cheek whom partnered with Whitelight Productions to make this historic show. Grabbing stories from today’s headlines, this ground-breaking series dares viewers to take a 30 minute walk in the shoes of men, women and children who have been wrongfully convicted of a crime and through the legal system finally having that conviction reversed.” Featuring the true stories of wrongfully convicted victims, “Wrongfully Convicted” will leave its viewers astounded at how being convicted of a crime you did not commit and going to jail for it, can wreak havoc in the life of an unsuspecting victim.
