Lies! and Sweet Potato Pies! would like to request your attendance at our media day on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00am at Buttons Restaurant, located at 15207 Addison Rd. Addison, TX.  The cast will be available to answer questions regarding the production, personal accomplishments and preparations for the play.   Kendyl Ryan & Associates and Buttons staff will be available to hand out cast after party credentials; and process ticket purchases.


The red carpet after party will be held on Friday August 12, 2011 at Buttons Restaurant in Addison, following opening night performance, hosted by Lady Jade of k104 FM Radio.  Jennifer Holliday, Christian Keyes, Big Chief, D. Suspicion! Lies! and Sweet Potato Pies! is a modern day murder mystery dramedy (drama and comedy), with life lessons and spiritual connectedness.  “This play evokes your every emotion and will have you laughing out of your seat…," said K104 morning show host Lady Jade.  The plot deals with a successful and handsome ladies’ man (De Andre Fellows) who has been living the high life as a player.  His life takes a turn for the worst when his ladies are being murdered one by one and he is the prime suspect.  In the midst of all the drama he falls for a stubborn Christian woman and is clueless on how to win her heart.
De Andre’s hilarious family members and eclectic friends Stan and Squirm try to help him solve the murder.  Everyone is a possible suspect.  Motives, clues, the audience will be on the edge of their seats solving the sweetest murder mystery to hit the stage! Dallas Weekly play critic AnToinette Nevil wrote,  “This play was not only good, but inspirational- on and off the stage…the play covered real topics played by real people…”.
