By: Dennis Sullivan SEATTLE—(August 9, 2011) –Fender Bender Mobile today announced much anticipated accident mobile injury application for Apple iPhone® users has received the green light for FREE download on the iTunes Store. This useful and application was designed to relieve stress on people who have been in an accident. People wishing to download the application can do so by going to the following link on the iTunes store. http://itunes.apple.com/ “The speed at which approval by Apple occurred really caught us by surprise,” said Dennis Sullivan, creator of Fender Bender. We had been researching the length of time it takes for approval and paid special attention to the number of submissions, so we were expecting a much longer cycle,” Sullivan added. The creator, design and development team operated under certain assumptions regarding the application. First, it was Apple so the team knew that Apple has high quality standards when it comes to the look, feel and navigation. Second, the team knew it had to work the first time in order to avoid a “decline” and further modification of the application. The speed at which it all happened is a validation of design and development. Fender Bender is a personal high value application. Immediately after an accident, the emotional state of an accident victim (both drivers and passengers) is such that they are not thinking clearly and in most cases don’t have a clue as to what information is useful other than driver’s license and registration. Fender Bender lets people fill out their personal insurance information up front without having to do it at the scene of the accident. When finished they are locked and loaded. “Everything about the design of the application was to reduce the amount of manual entry after an accident. The use of flicking the screens, touching the parts of the body where they hurt, slide bar for pain level, voice recorder, photos and the use of an audio recorder were part of the solution, said Colin Magnuson, Fender Bender designer. The ability for the application to lead the victim through a logical and painless process was the goal, Magnuson added.” This was a really fun but challenging development process that went pretty smooth considering obstacles that most applications face in development,” Shawn Briggs, a personal injury attorney located in Lakewood, WA said “This has been a pleasing experience to assist Fender bender in understanding my industry.” Injury Attorneys are unique in ways that most would not understand when trying create an application that provides more substantial and critical information than we might receive from an accident victim.” Fender Bender has developed a strong marketing program to drive downloads that borrows from old school blocking and tackling methods applied to new media and technology. The company is laser focused on becoming the premier application in this category. Steve Edison, Professor, Marketing--College of Business University of Arkansas, Little Rock said, "I have been fortunate to follow Fender Bender’s development process since it began. This is a very compelling and helpful application. The company's sales and marketing direction is well thought out".
