Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Whilst taking a break from filming  the third season of his popular cooking show “Greater Mekong River”, award-winning author and restaurant chef, Luke Nguyen of the Red Lantern Restaurant, Sydney, Australia dropped by the Traidhos Farm and Cooking Academy.

More accustomed to authentic Vietnamese recipes  from his homeland, Luke is currently researching authentic recipes from around the region. Luke spent a leisurely morning with cooking academy Director and Chef Teacher Nittaya Papasak taking in the smells and sights of the farm and learning how to make a typical northern jackfruit salad. Nittaya  has researched many authentic northern Thai recipes and was proud to share her families jackfruit salad recipe. Luke was impressed by the natural surroundings of the Traidhos open-air cooking sala and the connections that were made with the farm and local seasonal ingredients. He is passionate about food and believes that people from all parts of the world should reconnect with the origins of their food.
