The Our Kids Media’s 2011 Montreal Private School Expo

Aug. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Four Private School Expos To Be Held Nationwide in 2011. Despite concerns over the future of Canada's private schools enrollment numbers, parent interest in private education has continued to climb over the past few years despite recent economic concerns. Building upon record-breaking attendance, Our Kids Media is continuing its annual tour of Private School Expos across Canada starting in Montreal on September 18, 2011

The Montreal expo will bring together curious families with school representatives for a one-on-one exchange of information hosted at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure, located steps away from historical old Montreal.

"Last year we were amazed by the enthusiastic reception to our expos. We knew the benefits were still there, but weren't sure if families considered private school as a real option," says Agatha Stawicki, Publisher of Our Kids Media. "It just proves that even in tough times, the quality of a child's education will always be a priority."

The number of attending parents and children exceeded expectations by about thirty per cent for all four of 2010's events, held in Montreal, Toronto, Halton-Peel and Vancouver. Many families have traveled from the United States and Mexico to research their private school options and take advantage of the popular information seminars, covering topics like financing tuition, how to choose a school, and an inside look at boarding schools.

As economic times continue to improve, Our Kids Media is confident that the benefits of a private school education, such as small class sizes, enriched academics, and close parent-teacher partnerships, will make the upcoming 2011 series of Expos an even greater success.
