Western Air Limbach Transitioning into Limbach Company in 2011

Aug. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- PITTSBURGH, PA  (August 7, 2011) - Limbach Facility Services LLC has announced that its Branch serving the Southern California market, Western Air Limbach, will now operate as “Limbach Company”. The name change is part of a re-branding initiative to unify Limbach's approach to the market. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Limbach maintains eleven strategically located Branches throughout the US, and is active in twenty-four markets. Limbach delivers a recognized reputation and a network of strong relationships developed by consistently performing superior work for more than 110 years.

Historically, Limbach’s Southern California Branch was established as Western Air & Refrigeration Company over 77 years ago, opening its doors in 1934 with the installation of Southern California's very first air conditioning system. By the time Limbach Company acquired Western Air & Refrigeration Company in 1974, the firm was among the region’s oldest and largest mechanical contracting firms - offering the full spectrum of HVAC, plumbing and energy management services. To begin the transition to the Limbach brand, in 2004 the Branch changed its name to Western Air Limbach. In August of 2010, the ongoing success in the Southern California market prompted a relocation of the Branch from its office in Compton, CA to a new facility capable of accommodating its continued growth located at 12442 Knott Street, Garden Grove, CA, 92841.

The Southern California Branch of Limbach Company has a stellar reputation derived from its portfolio of countless high-profile projects, including the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Ronald Reagan Medical Center at UCLA, and Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. Currently, the Branch is performing noteworthy projects for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the Bradley Terminal at LAX and Harbor General Hospital.
