Postcard Services Is QuickBooks National App Showcase Winner

Aug. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- More than 160 developers applied to participate in the 2011 QuickBooks National App Showcase – a forum to allow developers to craft business solutions that build upon the power of QuickBooks.  30 finalists were chosen to present live in San Francisco, and Postcard Services of Tampa, Florida was one of them.

The free Postcard Services App - http://appcenter.intuit.com/postcard-services allows users to drive customized, digitally printed direct mail postcard marketing campaigns by unleashing (without being limited to) the powerful data already resident within their QuickBooks. The App also contains analytic tools that integrate with QuickBooks to demonstrate campaign R.O.I. (Return on Investment). This enables businesses to answer the question “Did my direct mail campaign make me money?”

The panel of 6 judges comprised a team of seasoned venture capitalists specializing in the technology arena. They scrutinized every presentation and asked searching questions. “Our App is awesome and I knew that no one else at the Showcase serviced our market space of web to print direct mail … but could we get our message over to the judges effectively enough to win?” asked C.E.O. Jonathan Kremner, who actually gave the presentation - backed by Chief Technology Officer, Adam White. The answer was a resounding “yes.” Described by Intuit as a “Nice, high energy presentation,” the panel also referred to the Postcard Services presentation as “a real crowd pleaser” and as “proving that software can still look beautiful”. The judges picked Postcard Services as the first of the 4 winners, as did the voters participating in Intuit’s real-time online voting forum. The other 3 winners were Corelytics, Bill.com and Profitability.  Each of the winners received a $25,000 check from Intuit for a total of $100,000 in prize money.
