About Runway Beauty:
The mission of the workshop is to uplift self esteem and to empower young women who battled with tainted definitions of “Beauty.” We will be discussing the impact of the definition of “Beauty” in the media, relationships, and the development into womanhood. We will discuss the negative outlets that women have used, such examples include:
~Bleaching, ~Eating Disorders, ~Depression, ~Manipulation, ~Promiscuity, ~Attempted Suicide,
Our method:
To present a series of different interactive exercises for our young women to take away with including reflective exercises to help find true beauty both inside and out such as:
~Beauty in Bloom: an exercise dedicated to defining your five petals of beauty and making it grow within
~A discussion on the media’s definition on True Beauty and how we can redefine those standards
~"I am a Bel Ti Fi” the pledge to promote beauty within and maintain forever.
The series would end with makeovers and a riveting fashion show, giving young women a platform to express their True Beauty.
This is an exclusive and intimate 20+ event.
