The Kid Friendly 'F' Book - When Farts Had Colors

Peak City Publishing, LLC announced the release of "When Farts Had Colors" by Atlanta author and teacher, Mark Lawton Thomas. The book is about fourth-grader Lance Chance, who is tormented and bullied by the infamous, Merry Maddox.

"When Farts Had Colors" is due to be released in December, 2011 but will be previewed and pre-launched at the Savannah Book Festival, in Savannah, GA on November 19, 2011.  Mr. Thomas and the illustrator, Derrick M Eason, of Apex, NC will be on-hand to discuss the book.  

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mark Lawton Thomas was the former editorial director of Contents magazine, an international award-winning quarterly. He is also a columnist for Creative Loafing, and a commentator for Georgia Gazette radio.  He spends his weekdays teaching elementary students in the Atlanta public school system.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Derrick M. Eason is a professional artist with experience in privately commisioned sculptures and charcoal portraits. He has contributed to the logo design and graphic art with Purple Hayes. He has also been commisioned to create and design several Peak City Publishing books, including, the cover art for The First Line, The Wanderer of New Hope and The Rusty Bucket Kids. Derrick provided all of the Illustrations in The Rusty Bucket Kids and The Wanderer of New Hope.
