Italian Fashion Photographer Comes to Chicago- Asha Spacek Styles UR SUPERMODELS For Fall Editorials

Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- September 2011- "2Photographers" is the name of  Alessandro Mari and Marco Bigotti's company, a young and talented Italian duo who's passion is to bring quality in every project they work on. Over the course of the year, Italian based photographer, Alessandro Mari has provided several editorials and covers for FCM Magazine, but creatively decided to pop into the "Windy City" for a change in shoot scenery for the magazine's year end story board.

Asha Spacek, emerging style expert, artistic director and founder of UR SUPERMODELS, INC., jumped at the opportunity to submit the company's fashion and glamour lifestyle models for this beneficial branding experience.  Not only were UR SuperModels booked for editorial title pages, a cover, and filler content, the UR Artists Division, includes Asha Spacek as creative stylist, to collaborate during Mari's trip to Chicago from Italy.

"Working with Asha and FCM was a dream," Alessandro posted numerous times on social media pages like Facebook. He immediately thanked Asha personally, noting her trustful eye, talented passion, and one (1) select UR model [she has been grooming] that had a future in the European fashion market.

Originally booking 4 female and 2 male UR SuperModels, the previous celeb stylist scheduled from Los Angeles, California unconfirmed due to project scheduling conflicts. Asha Spacek would now create all 'head to toe' looks, booking and directing hair and makeup artists, all use of accessories, and wardrobe selection with onset pairings for not only UR SuperModels, but Victoria Yasemin, an FCM model flying in from LA.

Spacek was asked by FCM to step in as stylist knowing she held experience consulting, producing and styling fashion editorials, covers, models, television personalities, wives of pro athletes, and luxury advertising campaigns.  Time fleeting, Asha resourced from existing boutiques like Fabbri Furs located on the peril shopping street of 50 East Oak Street, Mali Jewelry in the heart of Chicago's business 'loop' and tourist district at 204 North Michigan Avenue, and pending American couture designer JSN of UR Artists at ursupermodels.com.  

After reviewing the mostly mid western designers submitted for the issues [prior to Spacek being booked], only one designer, Temiade based of a Nigerian aesthetic gave Asha her story style influence. Her thought:  how might a woman today in different parts of the world dress with a glamorous influence of the 1950's and 1960's fashion?

An advocate of the arts and worldwide culture, Spacek reached out to past clients like Luna Malik- Bunari of Design Studio that has showcased -using UR SuperModels-exceptional world class south east asian designers like HSY, Nomi Ansari, and Umar Sayeed, aka "The Valentino of Pakistan."

Feeling she was sans a refined region, Asha brought in french couturier, Thierry Roger, whom she had been introduced to, and following for over a year. "Although I marveled his collections, I never knew the ideal time to implement his pieces in print, as they are very era and lifestyle precise, Asha explained. Roger IS modern 50's/60's, so it was the perfect missing element." She also used the opportunity to encourage Thierry to use younger influence to captivate his already older female demographic. "You are right, they DO want the fantasy imagery. I would have never paired my pieces as you have done; I love what you have created, highlighting everyone involved- you put so much into what you do" Roger admitted after allowed a sneak peek of the coming tear sheets.

Despite the shoots' regal influences, some edgy jewelry pieces would be completed from budding European designer Marta Cebrat-Czernik (mcebrat.com), which epitomizes modern elegance mixed with glamorous edge- making the TBA styles, editorial worthy.

Asha is currently developing new fashion makeup artists for 2012 [most are commercial in Chicago] and therefore reached out to her more than 2 year standing affiliate London Eyes International Academy of Makeup which teaches with an international influence and preparatory for film, print, and fashion events. Her hair team will consist of her daredevil pro hair artist, Juan Jose Herrera, that never tells her 'can't' and up and coming UR Artists Jason Patrick and Darion Denise.

Male models will not appear in what Asha hoped would be her "go-to" custom suit designers after pulling out of the line up. The loyal loss awarded her an opportunity to rekindle a relationship with Lord & Taylor at Northbrook Court, making it a win-win with the high end mall, featuring boutiques like Betsey Johnson, Burberry, MaxMara, Stuart Weitzman and more . "Thank you for thinking of us, their Marketing and Operations office reported.  We are appreciative of this mutually beneficial opportunity."  Spacek has booked models as manager with UR SuperModels, as well as pulled from NorthBrook shoppes for celeb clientele in prior years.
