Samsung Galaxy Note vs BlackBerry 9810 Torch - Choose the Best One as per Your Convenience

In this article, we will discuss two lovely smart phones that are quite popular among the phone users and known as Samsung Galaxy Note and BlackBerry Torch 9810.

Moving to integral features, one will have GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA/HSUPA, WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and HTML browser in both of these gimmicks. Adding to it, Samsung's device will be available with 16GB/32GB storage & 1 GB RAM (inbuilt), up to 32GB and 2 GB included, whereas BlackBerry's one comprises 8 GB storage built-in with 768 MB RAM and up to 32GB external support. With Samsung Galaxy Note, Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) is expected, whereas BlackBerry Torch 9810 will be there having Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Both of these smartphones incorporate SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM communication options. Also, both these are supported by NFC support, GPS system and Digital compass. Samsung Galaxy Note does have Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) while BlackBerry Torch 9810 is powered by BlackBerry OS 7.0. If we talk about camera, 8 MP camera has been noticed in Samsung’s phone and 5 MP in BlackBerry’s. Both of the cameras are supported by autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, image stabilization and so on. Samsung has also offered its gimmick with one another 2 MP camera just to make video calls.

Users can get advantage of Organizer, Voice memo/dial and Predictive text input by using both of the gadgets, but they can find Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. TV-out (via MHL A/V link), Image/video editor, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, Samsung ChatON, Barometer sensor, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa integration only in Samsung Galaxy Note. Entertainment aspect is also quite good in both of the handsets. Though you will have Stereo FM radio with RDS only in Samsung’s phone, but audio/video players are damn good in both of the devices and you will find them supported by 3.5mm jack and Loudspeaker.
