Sk8Wars, Urban Skateboard Association and Action Sports Hub Team Up

Sept. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Action Sports Hub is pleased to announce the participation in the most exciting skate/concert event in LA County for 2011.  

Expected are a venue of 8,000-12,000 skate and music fans on location at Hollywood Park Halloween weekend October 29, 2011 for a full one-day event.   The $2,000 cash and prizes skate competition is a jam format. A specialty skate park is being built inside the Hollywood Park, so the most innovative riders, tricksters, grinders and chargers will be able to show off their talent for the 1st place grand prize of $1,000 dollars.  Also on site the event will have up to 30 vendors of Action Sports and other type of entertainment for the fan enjoyment.

There are some true talents that got missed from the inner city. Urban Skateboard Association and Action Sports Hub prove to show this at Sk8 Wars Urban Battle!

SK8TM Wars is an amateur street skating competition that brings the world of extreme sports to the inner city. It will turn the spotlight on local skating talent, and introduce them to the world of extreme sports.  Skate Wars and the Urban Skateboard Association recognize that youth need positive alternatives to keep physically fit and entertained and know that events like the Amateur Tour and Concert provide a safe forum for friendly competition and quality entertainment. Think of SK8TM Wars as one big party that can and will change the lives of every kid who is there.   It is part X Games, part musical festival and part trade show, and will feature up and coming skaters, bands, apparel and skating-related products.  Our fresh, hip entertainment line-up  will rock the park.  Hosted by celebrity skater, Anthony Mosley and Mosley will be joined by a few surprise skate superstars, who will serve as judges and be available for photo ops.  

Urban Skateboard Association (USA )  was brought to life through the visionary efforts of Skate Wars producer William Lee Lamar. A non-profit organization, Urban Skateboarding Association,(USA) is a community outreach organization headquartered at his skate and surf shop, Planet Maple.  

Action Sports Hub (ASH) brings together two industries that are currently changing the next generation's future in sports. Action Sports and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).  Through ASH (www.actionsportshub.com) and CornerMan MMA (www.MMA.ActionSportshub.com)  ASH will  give commentary on the Action Sports & MMA Industry from the Athletes to Companies and Products to Events.  ASH web portal will also focus on delivering industry business news, advertising, and an educational platform as well as a entertainment platform for viewers and users. ASH is the premier community website for action sports and MMA as well as a place to barter and sell products in the Action Sports Industry or Adventure Sports Industry in an Ebay format.  Action Sports Hub is rapidly being dubbed the ESPN of Action Sports.
