Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- A New Iasa chapter in Spain

Austin, TX, September, 2011—IASA, the world’s largest IT Architecture professional association, is pleased to announce a new chapter in Madrid, Spain.  The vision of the chapter leadership is to help and structure the IT Architect community in Spain, having a long term association offering learning and mentoring resources based on conferences, debates, workshops and Iasa courses and certifications.

Cesar de la Torre, President and co-founder of the Madrid chapter is excited about the opportunity to engage with many other Architects from different contexts, ecosystems and platforms. “The important point here is the experience of the people, not the platforms, nor the specific technologies”.

Cesar continues: “Our main motivation to start the chapter is to create a shared “arena” accessible to anyone to discuss and debate about Architecture (Software Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture & Enterprise Architecture) and related technologies, regardless of the view of technology.
The ultimate motivation is to have a software architect community that can share and learn from each other, regardless of the employer and the technology being used.
The inaugural event will take place November 7th 2011 at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid – Facultad de Informatica. The focus of this event will be on Software Architecture for LOB and High Scalable Apps presented by keynote speakers Eric Evans and Udi  Dahan.
Following the event the both keynote speakers will host and present DDD and CQRS Workshops November 8th and November 11th 2011.
