September 30, from 6p-9p, Branwar Wines is celebrating another year of providing premier wines to the Texas market at Cova (5555 Washington). As a special thanks, they will be offering complimentary tastings from their portfolio, as well as, Cova's wonderful hors d'oeuvres.

This complimentary event will highlight all wines in the Branwar portfolio in a circuit style tasting format, with a sommelier and light bites at each station. A few of the wines featured include: Passages (Merlot), Beyerskloof (Pinotage), Doolhof (Cabernet Sauvignon), Blouvlei (Sauvignon Blanc), Passages (Chardonnay), Polkadraai (Sauvignon/Chenin Blend) and Stellenbosch Hills (Chenin Blanc).

Wines from their collection will be available for purchase. So please come ready to have fun, socialize, and most importantly taste Branwar vino!

Owner Wayne Luckett developed an affinity for South African wines during his five year residency in Johannesburg, South Africa. After returning home, he wanted to continue his enjoyment of select South African wines.  Realizing there was a void in the Texas wine industry, he set out to offer one of the Western Cape’s best kept secrets.
