Muffy Writes A Note tapped to provide swag for 32nd Annual News & Documentary Emmy Award Gift Bags

Sept. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- BALDWIN, MD - One year old Muffy Writes A Note has been invited to have one of their products, the Under The Sea Note Card Collection, featured in the official gift bags to be handed out at the News and Documentary Emmy® Awards in New York City on September 26. Muffy Writes A Note will provide 800 sets of note cards with envelopes that will be handed out to awards night attendees. This year's Award Show will be held at Frederick P. Rose Hall,home of Jazz at Lincoln Center. Guests will include 800 of the most influential people in television and internet news media and all guests will receive The Official News Emmy Gift Bag. Muffy Writes A Note co-owners Cindy Galka and Heather Gormsen received a request from Val Wilson of Off the Wall Gifts inviting their company to feature an item in the gift bags. “We danced a little jig of excitement after reading Val’s e-mail then immediately set about deciding which Muffy Writes A Note product to feature.” In the end, Galka and Gormsen created a collection of assorted cards featuring several of the most popular images in the Muffy Writes A Note catalog. “Our Under the Sea Note Card Collection fit this situation perfectly. Who wouldn’t want to send or receive one of these note cards featuring an exquisite, hand-drawn crab, lobster, octopus or seahorse? This opportunity not only gives our product exposure to the gift bag recipients themselves, but also to the person with whom they correspond using the product. Founded in September of 2010 with $300 and a home office, Muffy Writes A Note products and original artwork have quickly gained positive recognition. Galka and Gormsen met as volunteers in the Junior League of Baltimore and quickly discovered a shared love of paper products, having fun and all things preppy.
