Follow on Google News | Pencil Bugs Are At It Again With Their 3rd Teddy Bear Fundraiser for Rady Children's HospitalChristmas 2011 will be the third and final teddy bear fundraiser to benefit Rady Children's Hospital, championed by Pencil Bugs founder, 15-year-old entrepreneur Jason O'Neill. O'Neill hopes this event will top all previous ones.
By: Nancy O'Neill The Teddy Bear Fundraisers are supported through donations from people all over the world as well as O'Neill's own contributions from his business proceeds. After almost six years in business, O'Neill has decided to move onto other ventures and focus on college and whatever the future holds. But before he says goodbye to his Pencil Bugs, he is hoping to make his final fundraiser his biggest event yet. O'Neill has learned that even the smallest effort can make a difference in someone else's life so every dollar matters. 100% of the money donated is used to buy teddy bears for the kids. O'Neill covers all other expenses. Because he appreciates the support of all those who are able to help, he also gives recognition to each person or company on his website as well as tweeting or posting on Facebook about their generosity. However, if someone wishes to remain anonymous, he also respects their wishes. There are several ways to help and O'Neill has made it very easy to donate $1.00 or $100.00 or anything in between or even above. Details can be found on his website donation page at http://www.pencilbugs.com/ # # # At the young age of nine, entrepreneur Jason O'Neill created Pencil Bugs Plus. What started in 2005 with the main product, Pencil Bugs, a handcrafted colorful, bug-like pencil topper turned into a successful enterprise with bookmarks, original greeting cards, and birthday invitations. In 2010, he also published his first book, "Bitten by the Business Bug: Common Sense Tips for Business and Life from a Teen Entrepreneur." End
