PetHub Wins the HH Backer Silver Medal Award The contest, held as part of the 45th Annual HH Backer Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show in Chicago this past weekend, highlighted hundreds of innovative pet products; from holistic pet foods, to aquatic tanks and accessories, to designer clothes and carriers. Retailers, primarily pet store owners and managers, evaluated the products and voted for their favorites. "The HH Backer event came at the perfect time for us," explained Tom Arnold, PetHub Founder and CEO. "After a year of consumer and industry interaction and feedback, the key elements of our unique concept are in place and really catching on." Retailers at the event noted that PetHub's GPS Location Service, in particular, would resonate with many of their customers. The service, which sends a map pinpointing the pet's location when its Quick Response code ("QR code") ID tag is scanned, is included as part of PetHub's offerings. The HH Backer Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show and Educational Conference is one of the nation's largest pet trade shows. The three-day event included over 700 exhibitors and close to 1,100 booths.
