Chien Fei Chiang Memorial Exhibition at Gallery One

Oct. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- GalleryONE in Old Saybrook is honored to present a memorial exhibition of the work of Chien Fei Chiang. The show will run from November 8th to the 20th with the opening reception on Friday November 11th from 5:30-7:30.  This exhibition will present over fifty works drawn from all periods of Chien Fei's artistic life.

Chien Fei's work brings his mastery of Chinese brush painting and its choice of traditional subject matter into harmony with western scenery and watercolor techniques.  He was a generous teacher  and mentored many students in this uniquely personal style.   Chien Fei exhibited widely both in Taiwan, where he was a third generation artist, and in Connecticut where he moved in 1967.

Chien Fei was an exhibiting member of GalleryONE, an artist cooperative, which is located at the Clayhouse in the Old Saybrook Shopping Center, 665 Boston Post Road. (Route 1), Old Saybrook, CT.   GalleryONE is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00-5:30 and Sunday from noon to 5:00.  The Gallery is closed on Monday.
