Floyd V. Myers of Mt. Vernon Elected to Wartburg Board of Directors

Nov. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The Wartburg Adult Care Community announced that its Board of Directors has elected Floyd V. Myers of Mt. Vernon, NY to board membership for a term of four years.  

“We are pleased to have the benefit of Floyd Myers‘unique business skills developing public and private partnerships from his long career in public service,” said David Gentner, President and CEO of The Wartburg.  “As a resident of our community, his knowledge of the public we serve and leadership ability will enhance our strong Board leadership.”

Floyd V. Myers serves as Chief of Business Development and Partnerships for the National Park Service, National Parks of New York Harbor. Prior to this post, he was Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of the City of Mount Vernon Department of Recreation.  He has extensive experience in business management of a music and media production company, serving as President of Soul on Soul Inc. for nearly a decade.

Mr. Myers has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland, Eastern Shore and he earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Walden University.
