Tom Ford Designs for James Bond- Skyfall - Stylert.com

Nov. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- The designer Tom Ford Once again will create the costumes for the newest James Bond movie, Skyfall. The designer is dressing Daniel Craig for the second time, after providing the actor with the suit in Quantum of Solace in 2008.

It was revealed November 3 that the designer will be provide his styling skills for the spy thriller, which is currently being filmed and stars the British actor along with new Bond girls Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris. Tom Ford dressed current 007 Craig in Quantum of Solace in 2008.

‘’I couldn’t be happier to be dressing Daniel Craig again,” said the designer said in a official announcement and that he thinks the fictional spy perfectly encompasses his eponymous label’s sleek aesthetic. Daniel Craig’s garments will be handmade in Italy and will include the mandatory tailored suits as well as suave accessories and Tom Ford eyewear.

Tom Ford also was Bond's tailor for movie Quantum of Solace. Actor Daniel Craig was reported to have ruined around 40 suits during filming. "It really is a crime. It makes me weep every time. They're great suits," Craig told the British press.
Tom isn’t the first designer to offer his services to a movie costume department. Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld was providing James Bond girl’s gowns in several occasions.

Brioni suits, the benchmark of Italian tailoring, Pierce Brosnan began wearing the Italian company's suits in the movie GoldenEye and Daniel Craig wore a charcoal gray Brioni suit, at the London press conference announcing his role of Bond in Casino Royale.

Olga Kurylenko wore a black Prada dress in Quantum of Solace and the sexy red dress was from Carabella .
