Walnut Creek on Ice opens for 7th Season. That Makes It Time to "Get Your Skate On"!

Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Walnut Creek Downtown Business Association are proud to bring the community another year of Walnut Creek on Ice for all to enjoy this winter!

The 7th annual outdoor, holiday ice rink welcomes Walnut Creek residents, sponsors, staff, neighbors and friends to kick off of the  201-2012 season.

From now till January 16, 2012 the rink is open and  now with a roof,  so Rain or Shine it's time to "Get Your Skate On!" at  Walnut Creek on Ice.


Also in 2012 there will be The First Annual Walnut Creek on Ice Gala!

This promises to be a very special, unique end-of-the-season celebration! The first annual Walnut Creek on Ice Gala will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, beginning at 6:30pm. The event will include cocktails, entertainment, ice sculptor, guest skater, full sit-down dinner, and wine generously donated by Shadowbrook Winery.


Join the Walnut Creek community as they celebrate the best Ice Rink season to date!

6:30pm – Wines from Shadowbrook, beer, live jazz music by Jack Pollard and ice sculpting
7:30pm – Sit down dinner catered by Scott’s
8:45pm – Featured performer Dan Ashley ice dancing
9:30pm – Dan Ashley’s band The Push
11:00pm – Conclusion
