Paola Bassanese of Energya Ltd to receive special award from Italian Chambers of Commerce

Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Paola Bassanese, director of Energya Ltd, will receive a special award as an entrepreneur from Trieste, Italy, living abroad.

The prize is awarded by the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Trieste and takes place only every two years after a careful selection of worthy candidates.

The work of natives of Trieste, Italy, living and running a business abroad is recognised as particularly significant to raise the profile of their hometown.

Trieste is located in the North East of Italy and has had a troubled history under the rule of different empires and rulers. This has made Trieste a cosmopolitan town at the centre of various trade routes and influenced by multiple cultures.

Paola Bassanese left Trieste in 1996 and after a decade working for the private and public sector she founded her company Energya Ltd in 2006 to specialise in alternative and complementary therapies.

In 2010 Paola Bassanese received the ICNM Award for Best Practitioner of Complementary Medicine in London.

The award ceremony will take place at the Camera di Commercio di Trieste on 20th December 2011.
