New Fashion Options in QR Code Pet ID Tags through PetHub.com PartnershipsDogTagArt.com and dogIDs.com provide more options when linking a pet tag to a free PetHub.com profile.
By: PetHub, Inc. The newest options that now support the PetHub.com QR code are provided by Dog Tag Art and available through the PetHub website: "Geek Dog", "I'm a High-Tech Pup!", and a "Scan me" tag featuring PetHub's dog and cat cartoon mascots. "We're excited to share our rugged yet fun tags with PetHub's users," said Jack Carrier, Director of DogTagArt.com. "The size, colorfulness, and quality of our tags has made us a leader in the pet tag industry. With PetHub's innovative QR recovery system and our tags, we'll be able to protect more pets in a fun way. ID tags don't have to be boring!" DogIDs.com has also rolled out new collar options that include reflective, easy-release, and soft-grip collars, all of which can be found both at http://www.pethub.com/ All of these options are pointing to PetHub.com's services and help pet owners in three distinct ways: 1) enables pet owners / guardians to send "Amber Alert"-like notifications to nearby shelters if a pet goes missing (using their pet's existing PetHub.com profile), 2) receive notifications when their pet's tag is scanned, and, 3) provide a starting location for finding their wayward pet by including a GPS map showing where the animal was when scanned. "The GPS feature is exciting because of the fact that 50% of us walk around with GPS-enabled smartphones in our pockets. Recognizing this, we decided to make it easier than ever before to get people moving quickly to get a pet home faster and safely by: 1) providing critical data to the rescuer, such as medications, dietary needs, and multiple emergency phone numbers, and, 2) notifying the pet owner that their pet was found and where to find them. This is done simply by scanning the tag with a cell phone's camera or typing in the tag's web address," noted Arnold. An option included with the tags and collars is having the pet's name and owner's phone number etched onto the tag. The pet's Internet profile pointed to by the tag can be modified free of charge without requiring any changes to the physical tag. "We're remaining very selective when it comes to who we work with. To provide a lot of options to our users, value to our partners, and high quality all around helps to create a ‘win-win-win' for PetHub, its partners, and the PetHub.com members. We're excited to be working with DogTagArt.com and dogIDs.com," About dogIDs™ dogIDs (www.dogids.com) About Dog Tag Art™ Dog Tag Art (www.dogtagart.com) # # # About PetHub™ PetHub, Inc.
