Dec. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Ever wanted a pet clown? That’s exactly what Mila Shvartsman got, in the form of a dog. Drawn entirely on an iPad by the world-renowned artist Maui Reple, “Raspi and Friends” is about Raspoutin the dog.

“Raspi and Friends” chronicles the life in a day of Raspoutin. Innocence, honesty and playfulness are all conveyed by Maui’s energy of creation. “Raspoutin is a very charismatic dog, and in his eyes you can see that he is very expressive,” says the artist. “This book will appeal to all ages, since we are all have an inner child.”

Raspoutin, a four-year old German Shorthaired Pointer, is no slouch to the limelight. Already at 18 months old, his happy mug was on a bag of dog food, adorning women’s fashion catalogs, and on Miami’s Lincoln Road film shoots. “If here were a human, he would definitely be an actor” says Maui in his Youtube interview.

The book (available on iTunes) stimulates the imagination by providing hints of an underlying story through images. You’re not told a story; you get to create your own. With Raspoutin as the main character, of course!
