Local Artist Cheryl Ehlers Cup is Half Full With Art Buzz The 2010 Collection

Carlsbad, CA, award winning artist, Cheryl Ehlers art will be published in Art Buzz, The 2012 Collection, where a national search for 106 emerging exceptional artists in the United States were selected from over 5000 entries.

Dec. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- "It is exciting with all that was accomplished and I am looking forward to starting off 2012 with a new found creative energy, stated Cheryl Ehlers”.  An exceptional feat, as nine pieces were selected for publication in late 2011. Six watercolors and mixed media paintings, and three acrylic art pieces of original work will be featured with emerging and mid-career visual artists specifically selected for the collection book.

The artwork selected was also awarded honors in the following categories;
Third place in Watercolors; for artwork; “Checking it Out, Seaflowers I and Seaflowers II”. Third place in Mixed Media for “Off Beat Blues, Music Mania and I Love Paris” and honorable mention in Acrylics; for “ Up the Rabbits Hole Singing, Time Pieces and All Jazzed”.

Art Buzz is dedicated to the Appreciation and Advancement of Contemporary Visual Art and its Creators, Home of the worldwide, annual, juried Fine Art Search for Exposure & Recognition. The collection book targets specifically for active, contemporary art dealers, gallery curators and collectors.  

Ehlers is also the Director and Art Instructor of The Stardust Arts, an awarded youth art program that provides the development of creativity and imagination to those that have the desire and drive to experience art and obtain the academic enrichment it provide to the children in schools today.  Teaching over 3,000 students, in school programs since 2009, The Stardust Arts is supported by community donations, grants and sponsorships and is recognized by the California State Assembly for its contributions to art in local communities.
