Alpha Academics Provides Home School Programs For Kindergarten To Middle School Students

Jan. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Davie, FL—(January 26, 2012) Alpha Academic Services, the leader in educational programming, is offering daytime Language Arts (Reading and Writing) and Mathematics courses for homeschool families, grades Kindergarten through Middle School, looking for a curriculum to challenge and enhance learning in a intimate and safe environment.

These standard-based courses surpass the grade level expectations for the Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards will begin on February 20th, and will conclude on
June 1st, 2012. (14 weeks). Students will be grouped in intimate class settings of 9 students or less to maximize personal attention, and instruction will be delivered by expert educators in each field.

All students will be formally pre-tested before the first session, and they will be post-tested at program completion.  Additionally, parents will be kept informed of student advancement by way of formal progress reports, parent conferences, and report cards (1 report card every 7 weeks).  

These courses help parents provide the academic focus that their homeschool children may need. “Many homeschool parents need a guide or support materials to take them through certain subject areas.  Our classes will ensure a proper progression through the standards for each student, and students will be assessed continuously throughout the courses to make sure that content mastery is attained.  One of the positive secondary benefits of this course is that indeed, homeschoolers will be exposed to an intimate class setting where they will be constructively working with other similar aged peers” says Nicolas D. Classes meet once weekly for approximately 2 hours per session for 14 weeks. Mornings and early afternoon options are available on Monday-Thursday: 9:00am - 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 - 1:15 p.m. Tuition is $439.00 per course and there is a $40.00 registration/curriculum fee.    

In addition to Homeschooling, Alpha Academics continues to offer private and group FCAT and Enrichment courses for students who need to be challenged beyond the regular school day.
