Republic Day Festivities at AlphaOne, Amritsar Attracts Patriotic People

Feb. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- The sprawling AlphaOne mega retail and entertainment development in Amritsar celebrated the 63rd Republic Day of India with the patriotic, festive and fun-loving people of Punjab on January 26, 2012. Enthusiastic visitors, revellers and shoppers actively participated in several contests held during the Republic Day Festivities at AlphaOne, that included, Nukkad Nataks on Patriotism as well as on Encouraging People to Exercise their Vote, performed by Mr. Makhna, the theatre artist; Dance Performances by IVE Kids, the NGO for underprivileged children on patriotic songs and several MC led activities. Despite the stringent mandatory security surveillance the MC’s enthusiastic and joyous interactions with the crowd got the contests going with fervour. Several competitions kept the interactive audience thoroughly enjoying and fascinated with the proceedings.

During the festivities at AlphaOne, Mr. Rajendra Prasad, Centre Head, AlphaOne, Amritsar gave away several coveted awards, trophies and gift hampers to the winners of Lucky Draw and different competitions held during the celebrations.

The Disney characters will be exclusively at AlphaOne, Amritsar from January 20th and till February 19th for all Amritsaris to feel the thrill, excitement and special performances by the iconic Disney characters.
